== Description ==

Getaway Lite is a business WordPress theme that you can use to build your personal or company website. The theme comes with nice effects and layout that will help you build a professional website. You can have a header image in the home page and the interior pages and also the ability to use a different header image for each page or post using the featured images. In the front page you can display your blog, a default page with sidebar or a full width page. Add links to your Social media accounts easily with the integrated Social Media menu. Getaway Lite comes loaded with 28 social media icons to have your visitors connect to you. Easily upload your logo image and favicon, styling for Contact Form 7 plugin are among the features. == Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Adding a logo image =

Go to ‘Appearance-Customize-Site Identity’. There you have the ability to upload a logo image, change the site title and tagline. You can also disable the site title and tagline via the checkbox if you choose to have only a logo image. Under ‘Customize-Colors’ you can change the color of the site title and tagline.

= Configuring the menus =

There are two menu locations in this theme: the ‘Primary Menu’(main menu) and the ‘Social’.
1. Go to ‘Appearance-Menus’.
2. Create a menu in the right side of the screen and click ‘Save’.
3. From the left column you can include any pages, categories or create custom links.
4. In the bottom of the right side, check the box to display the menu in the ‘Primary Menu’ location and click ‘Save’.

Note that you have to have created your pages and categories first and they will be available in the list to include in the menu.

= Header image and content =

First add a header image. In your Dashboard go to Appearance → Customize → Header Images. Add the image you want to display. You can add more than one and randomize them.

The site tagline (slogan) will display on top of the header image.

Below the tagline as seen in the demo there is a text slideshow which displays locations or any other text you might like. To add or change the text, in your Dashboard go to Appearance → Customize → Theme Options. You will see a text area with the title Add slider text, each line inside a tag. Add each piece of text inside span tags in this form

Below this text area you will see a couple of other fields for the Header Call to Action button, where you can set the url and the text to be displayed. If the url field is left empty the button will not show.

= Social media icons =

The theme will automatically display links to your social media profiles as icons, using a Custom Menu.
1. Go to ‘Appearance-Menus’.
2. Create a menu in the right side of the screen and click ‘Save’.
3. In the bottom of the right side, check the box to display the menu in the ‘Social’ location and click ‘Save’.
4. Add the address for each social profile to your menu as a custom link. For example, http://twitter.com/vivathemes is our Twitter link.Supported icons are CodePen, Digg, Dribbble, Dropbox, Facebook, Flickr, Foursquare, GitHub, Google+, GitHub, Instagram, LinkedIn, Email (mailto: links), Path, Pinterest, Pocket, Polldaddy, Reddit, RSS Feed (urls with /feed/), Skype, Spotify, StumbleUpon, Tumblr, Twitch, Twitter, Vimeo, WordPress, YouTube.

= Front page content =

The front page will display the latest posts by default. To have a static page displayed in front

- Go to ‘Settings-Reading’
- Select a static page to display in the front page.
- Assign one of your existing pages to display your blog and include it in the Menu.

= The widget areas =

This theme has three widget ready area. The Right Sidebar visible in all pages and posts, the Contact widget is visible throughout the website above the footer, and the Footer Widgets. You can add widgets by going to ‘Appearance – Widgets’ in your WordPress administration area and dragging & dropping widgets.

= Featured image sizes =

Blog featured images - 500px wide by 300px high.
Header Images - 2000px wide by 600px high.
