Drop an interactive pricing calculator on your site in 60 seconds. Visitors get instant price estimates, you get qualified leads.

== Description ==

PriceIQ adds an embeddable pricing calculator to your WordPress site. Visitors answer a few tailored questions about their project and receive an instant price range — while you capture a pre-qualified lead with their name, email, phone, and stated budget.

**Built for marketing agencies and service businesses** that want to convert "how much does this cost?" visitors into qualified leads — automatically, 24/7.

= How It Works =

1. Install the plugin and enter your Widget ID
2. A floating pricing button appears on your site
3. Visitors click it, answer 3–5 questions, and get an instant price estimate
4. You receive a qualified lead with their contact details and budget range

= Key Features =

* **60-second setup** — Install, paste your Widget ID, done
* **Instant price estimates** — Visitors see a real price range, not a "we'll get back to you"
* **Lead capture** — Every completed quote captures name, email, phone, and stated budget
* **Fully customizable** — Edit questions, colors, price ranges, and button text from your PriceIQ dashboard
* **Lightweight** — 30KB script, no impact on page speed
* **Works everywhere** — Floating button appears on all pages automatically
* **Email notifications** — Get notified instantly when a new lead comes in
* **Webhook support** — Send leads directly to your CRM
* **CSV export** — Download all leads anytime

= Who Is This For? =

* Marketing agencies
* Web design studios
* SEO and PPC agencies
* Home service companies
* Freelance consultants
* Any service business with variable pricing

PriceIQ is **free for up to 50 leads per month**. No credit card required. Upgrade to Starter ($49/mo) for unlimited leads and the option to remove the PriceIQ badge.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need a PriceIQ account? =

Yes. Create a free account at [trypriceiq.com](https://trypriceiq.com/auth/signup). This is where you customize your pricing calculator (questions, colors, price ranges) and view incoming leads.

= Is it really free? =

Yes. The free plan includes up to 50 leads per month with no credit card required. A small "Powered by PriceIQ" badge appears on the calculator. Upgrade to Starter ($49/mo) for unlimited leads and badge removal.

= Will this slow down my site? =

No. The widget script is 30KB and loads asynchronously (deferred). It does not block page rendering.

= Can I customize the questions and pricing? =

Yes. All customization happens in your [PriceIQ dashboard](https://trypriceiq.com/dashboard/widgets) — edit questions, answer options, price ranges, colors, and button text. Changes appear on your site immediately.

= Where do leads go? =

Leads appear in your PriceIQ dashboard inbox. You also receive email notifications for each new lead. Optionally, configure a webhook to send leads directly to your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, etc.).

= Does it work with page builders? =

Yes. The pricing calculator appears as a floating button and works with Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, WPBakery, Gutenberg, and any other page builder or theme.

= Can I show the calculator on specific pages only? =

The current version displays the floating button on all pages. Page-specific targeting is on the roadmap.

== External Services ==

This plugin relies on the **PriceIQ** service (trypriceiq.com) to provide interactive pricing calculator functionality.

= What data is sent and when =

When a visitor loads any page on your site where the plugin is active, the plugin loads a JavaScript file from `https://trypriceiq.com/widget.js`. This script then fetches your widget configuration (questions, colors, price ranges) from `https://trypriceiq.com/api/widget/{your-widget-id}`.

When a visitor completes the pricing calculator and submits the lead capture form, the following data is sent to `https://trypriceiq.com/api/leads`:

* Visitor's name, email, and phone number (as entered by the visitor)
* Answers to the pricing questions
* The calculated price estimate
* The page URL where the form was submitted

No data is sent automatically — the visitor must actively interact with and submit the pricing calculator form.
