Create customizable popups directly in the Elementor editor. Design every aspect of your popups with Elementor's familiar drag-and-drop interface, then configure display rules, triggers, animations, frequency, and scheduling - all without leaving the page builder.

== Description ==

Popmento - Popup Builder for Elementor adds a custom popup post type (`popmento_popups`) that integrates seamlessly into the Elementor editor. Build and style your popups with the full power of Elementor, then fine-tune their behavior with dedicated settings:

* **Design freely** - Use Elementor's full widget library and theme builder to create any popup layout.
* **Trigger options** - Display after a delay, on scroll, or on click.
* **Page targeting** - Show on the entire site, selected pages only, or exclude specific pages.
* **Frequency control** - Show always, X times per day, or X times per session via cookies.
* **Entry animations** - Fade in, slide in from top/bottom/left/right.
* **Alignment** - Center, left, right, top, bottom positioning.
* **Scheduling** - Set an expiry date to auto-disable popups.
* **Close button toggle** - Show or hide the close button with a modern X control.
* **Admin list toggle** - Quick-enable or disable popups from the posts list.
* **Admin bar shortcut** - Clear popup cookies directly from the frontend admin bar.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate **Elementor** (free version is sufficient).
2. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install via **Plugins > Add New**.
3. Activate the plugin from the **Plugins** screen.
4. A new **Popups** menu item appears in the WordPress admin (navigate to **Elementor > Editor > Popups**).
5. Add a new popup, edit with Elementor, and configure the display settings in the Elementor panel under **Settings > Popup Settings**.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Can I use any Elementor widget inside a popup? =

Yes. Since popups are built with the full Elementor editor, you can use any widget, including forms, images, buttons, and custom HTML.

= Can I target specific pages? =

Yes. The **Display On** setting lets you choose between the entire site, selected pages only, or all pages except specified ones.

= How does the frequency system work? =

You can show the popup every time (always), limit it to a number of times per day, or per session. Cookies are used to track impressions and expire automatically.

= Can I set an end date for a popup? =

Yes. Set the **Until** option to **Until Date** and pick a date/time. The popup will automatically disable itself after that time.

= How do I clear my popup cookies for testing? =

While logged in, click **Clear Popup Cookies** in the frontend admin bar.
