Release: PayRivet Free 1.0.12
Maintainer/brand: Graffx Design LLC

PayRivet is independent software and is not an official WooCommerce or Stripe product.

Primary upstream project:
WooCommerce Stripe Gateway 11.0.0
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/tree/11.0.0

PayRivet Free is a GPLv3 derivative that incorporates GPL-licensed upstream code together with PayRivet-specific modifications. The combined derivative is distributed under GPLv3; the complete license is included in `COPYING`. Existing copyright and license notices inside inherited and third-party source files are retained. No exclusive ownership claim is made over inherited code.

Third-party material retained in the package includes Composer runtime source/notices and `assets/js/jquery.mask.js` with its MIT notice. Corresponding source/build directions for inherited compiled client assets are documented in `readme.txt`, `SOURCE-ACCESS.txt`, and `SOURCE-PATCHES.txt`.

Identifier isolation
--------------------

PayRivet-owned PHP declarations, WordPress hooks, stored-data names and enqueued asset handles use `PayRivet_`, `PAYRIVET_`, `payrivet_` or `payrivet-` identifiers. Required WooCommerce core APIs, hook names and constants retain their official names when PayRivet is consuming WooCommerce behavior rather than declaring a PayRivet API.

The inherited generated JavaScript uses the deterministic identifier substitutions documented in `SOURCE-PATCHES.txt` so PayRivet browser globals do not collide with another Stripe gateway. PayRivet also detects the official WooCommerce Stripe Gateway or a conflicting fork before loading its payment runtime and prevents concurrent payment processing.

Trademark notice
----------------

Stripe and WooCommerce names are used only to identify interoperability and the services/software with which PayRivet integrates. PayRivet does not claim Stripe or WooCommerce endorsement, ownership, partnership status, merchant-account rights, warranty or third-party support rights.
