AI assistant for small businesses: answers your visitors’ questions from your website and takes requests. Paste one line of code, done.

== Description ==

NexJu AI is an assistant for the websites of small businesses: it answers your visitors’ questions from what is on your website and takes requests for you.

What the assistant does for your visitors:

* It answers questions about your services, prices and opening hours from the content of your website.
* It takes requests and callback wishes and sends them to you by email.
* It says openly that it is an AI assistant.
* It answers in German and English, in the larger plans in your visitor’s language.
* Your website only loads a small script of about 5 KB; the chat itself loads when a visitor opens it.

This plugin saves you from adding code to your theme. You copy the line of code from your NexJu AI account into a field under “Settings” and save. That is all.

What the plugin does:

* It loads the assistant’s script in the footer of every page.
* It only accepts the line of code in exactly its form. It does not store any other code.
* It creates a single setting and removes it again when you delete the plugin.

What you need: an account at NexJu AI (nexjuai.com) with an assistant set up for the domain of this website. The account is subject to a charge and is only available to businesses based in Germany.

The plugin’s interface is available in English and German.

== External services ==

The plugin embeds a script from app.nexjuai.com. This service is operated by JuNa Web UG (haftungsbeschränkt). When any page loads, the script and the assistant’s settings are fetched from there; like any web server, the service learns the visitor’s IP address and the address of the website. If a visitor writes in the assistant, their messages as well as the path and title of the page currently open are transmitted there and answered there. The assistant sets no cookies and stores nothing in the browser.

The plugin itself sends nothing anywhere until an administrator has saved the line of code.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do I find my line of code? =

In your NexJu AI account under “Code & installation”.

= The assistant does not appear. =

It only runs on the domain you set it up for. Also clear your website’s cache. In your account you can have it checked whether the line has arrived on your website.

= Does the assistant set cookies? =

No.

= Does it work with my theme? =

Yes, with any theme that outputs the standard WordPress footer. The plugin loads the script through WordPress itself.

= Does it slow down my website? =

Hardly: your pages load a script of about 5 KB. The chat itself only loads when a visitor opens it.

= Which languages does the assistant speak? =

German and English. In the larger plans it answers in your visitor’s language.
