Detect your WordPress sitemap, control what is in it, and connect it to Google Search Console.

== Description ==

**LiveUXI GSC Connect** finds your site’s sitemap (core `wp-sitemap.xml`, `robots.txt` Sitemap lines, and common SEO-plugin paths), lets you add or remove URLs, and helps you submit it to [Google Search Console](https://search.google.com/search-console).

= Free (wordpress.org) =

* Detect sitemap candidates (robots.txt + common URLs)
* Prefer the best match (sitemap index vs urlset)
* Copy full sitemap URL and path-only form for GSC
* Deep link into Google Search Console for your property
* Sitemap content controls: toggle posts/pages/taxonomies/authors, add custom URLs, exclude URLs or post IDs
* Detection details table (HTTP status, kind, entry count, latency)
* Public status JSON at `/wp-json/lxgsc/v1/status`
* In-plugin Support and Documentation buttons
* Works without Google API keys

= Pro (LiveUXI Stripe license gateway) =

* Google OAuth connection to Search Console
* Automatic sitemap submit and status sync
* Indexing API helpers for priority URLs
* Multi-property management
* Activate with a LiveUXI license key (no Freemius)

WordPress.org does not sell paid plugins. The free plugin is complete for manual submission. Pro is optional and distributed outside wordpress.org.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this require a Google API key? =

No for free features. Pro OAuth requires a Google Cloud OAuth client (site owner or LiveUXI-managed).

= Will this work with Yoast / Rank Math sitemaps? =

Detection reads `robots.txt` Sitemap lines and probes common paths including `sitemap_index.xml` and `sitemap.xml`.

= Where do I buy Pro? =

Use the Upgrade / Go Pro link in the plugin (LiveUXI Stripe checkout). Not sold on wordpress.org.

= How do I get support? =

Email plugins@liveuxi.com, or use the Support button on Settings → GSC Connect. Docs: https://wordpress.liveuxi.com/docs/gsc-connect/

= Why is detection failing? =

Turn off Settings → Reading → “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”. Confirm `/wp-sitemap.xml` loads in a browser.

= Which PHP versions are supported? =

Requires PHP 7.4 or higher. Tested on PHP 8.5 (current stable).

== External services ==

This plugin can contact LiveUXI services operated by LiveUXI Ltd. Free sitemap detection and local controls work without any LiveUXI account.

= LiveUXI license verification =

When you enter a Pro license key, the plugin sends the license key, site URL, and plugin slug to `https://liveuxi.com/api/lxstore/v1/license/verify` so LiveUXI can confirm the key is valid for this site. That request runs only when you activate (or re-check) a license.

= LiveUXI Stripe checkout =

The optional “Go Pro” / upgrade links open LiveUXI’s checkout pages on liveuxi.com so you can purchase a Pro license. Checkout is handled by LiveUXI / Stripe; the free plugin does not process card details itself.
