Connects your WooCommerce store to ERPSuite, the cloud ERP for small businesses.

== Description ==

ERPSuite for WooCommerce links your store to your company in [ERPSuite](https://erpsuite.deskpilotapp.cloud/), a cloud ERP (gestionale) for small and medium businesses. Products, prices and stock are managed in ERPSuite and the store is kept up to date; the orders of the store flow back into ERPSuite.

The plugin is deliberately small: you paste a connection key and everything else (price list, warehouse, order series, payment matching) is configured in ERPSuite.

= What it does =

* **Catalogue**: the items you mark «for the web» in ERPSuite become products of the store, with name, short and long description, pictures, category and weight. Only simple products for now.
* **Prices and promotions**: prices from the price list you choose, with or without tax as your store is set; ERPSuite promotions become sale prices with their start and end dates.
* **Stock**: the available stock of the warehouse you choose, updated every few minutes.
* **Orders**: every paid or confirmed order becomes a customer order in ERPSuite, with the customer (created if new) and the payment method matched to ERPSuite's payments.
* **Statistics**: the sales statistics of the store can be read in ERPSuite, with charts.
* **First import**: a store that already exists can import into ERPSuite its categories, products with pictures and stock, customers and open orders.

See it at work in the [demo store](https://shop.deskpilotapp.cloud/), connected to a demo company in ERPSuite.

= External service =

This plugin connects to ERPSuite, an external service. An ERPSuite account with the WooCommerce module is required.

Nothing is sent to ERPSuite until you paste a connection key and press Connect. When you connect, and from then on, the plugin exchanges with the ERPSuite address contained in your connection key:

* the address of your store and the versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP and of this plugin;
* a WooCommerce REST API key created for ERPSuite (removed when you disconnect or uninstall);
* the id of each new paid or confirmed order; ERPSuite then reads the order, with the customer's billing data, through the WooCommerce REST API.

With that REST API key ERPSuite creates and updates the products, categories, pictures and prices of the store, reads its orders, customers and sales reports, and adds a note to each imported order. Everything goes over HTTPS and every call between the store and ERPSuite is signed with the secret of the connection.
