Build a polished home for video and music with dedicated galleries, flexible players, featured content, likes, live search, and built-in insights.

== Description ==

= Give your video and music a place of its own =

Video and music should feel like a real part of your website—not just embeds scattered between regular posts.

7S Video & Music Gallery turns WordPress into a focused media destination where visitors can discover, watch, listen, like, and share your content through a clean, responsive gallery.

Publish a video, soundtrack, performance, trailer, interview, playlist, or any other media entry from one familiar WordPress interface. The plugin creates the gallery, individual content pages, players, browsing tools, and interaction statistics for you.

= A gallery designed for discovery =

Welcome visitors with a cinematic featured area, guide them toward community favourites with Most Liked, and keep fresh content easy to explore through a clear media stream.

Live search responds as visitors type. Related content encourages them to continue browsing, while numbered pagination, Load More, and infinite scrolling let you choose how the experience flows.

Everything works together as one coherent media section rather than a collection of unrelated embeds.

= Publish from the sources you already use =

Add media from:

* YouTube and YouTube Music
* Vimeo
* Spotify
* Apple Music
* SoundCloud
* Deezer
* Direct video and audio URLs
* Your WordPress Media Library

Add a title, cover image, description, category, and supporting details, then publish it like any other WordPress content.

= Make the gallery feel like part of your website =

Use your theme's typography or give the gallery its own visual identity. Adjust widths, typography, card titles, featured content, Most Liked presentation, colors, browsing behaviour, and individual content pages from a dedicated settings panel with live previews.

The gallery uses consistent 16:9 media presentation and adapts across desktop and mobile screens.

= Turn visitor activity into useful insight =

Visitors can like content without creating an account and remove their likes whenever they choose. Logged-in visitors' preferences remain connected to their WordPress accounts.

The built-in Statistics screen shows:

* Total and recent views
* Total and recent likes
* Most-viewed content
* Most-liked content
* Per-item interaction totals
* Recent gallery activity

Statistics update while the screen is open, without sending analytics data to the plugin author or requiring a separate analytics service.

= Built for creative and editorial websites =

7S Video & Music Gallery is a natural fit for:

* Film and culture publications
* Music magazines and artist websites
* Video archives and editorial projects
* Portfolios and creative studios
* Festivals, performances, and event media
* Podcasts with supporting video or audio
* Any WordPress site that wants media to feel like a destination

= Everything in one WordPress workflow =

* Dedicated video and music archive
* Individual media pages
* Featured-content showcase
* Thumbnail-based Most Liked section
* Live gallery search
* Related media
* Reversible guest and member likes
* View and like statistics
* Social sharing controls
* Flexible pagination options
* Gallery-specific typography and appearance settings
* ZIP import and export

Your content stays in WordPress, your presentation remains under your control, and your media gains a space built specifically for watching, listening, and discovery.

== External Services ==

7S Video & Music Gallery connects to an external service only when a site administrator publishes media from that service or a visitor chooses a sharing button. The plugin author does not receive this data.

= Embedded players =

When a supported media item is viewed, the visitor's browser loads the player from the selected provider. That provider may process the media identifier, IP address, browser or device information, referrer data, and cookies under its own policies.

== Privacy ==

7S Video & Music Gallery does not send analytics or usage data to the plugin author.

To reduce duplicate views, the plugin uses a first-party cookie for up to 24 hours and temporarily stores a one-way salted fingerprint for up to six hours. Raw IP addresses and raw browser identifiers are not stored.

Guest likes use a random first-party browser token for up to one year; only its one-way salted hash is saved. Logged-in visitors are represented by a one-way salted hash of their WordPress user ID. Raw identifiers and IP addresses are not stored with likes.

Third-party embedded players may process visitor data according to the policies listed in the External Services section.
